Who’s Dom?

Hello!

My name’s Dominic, and if you’re reading this for some reason, maybe you care a little bit about who I am?

Well, I’m nobody special. I’m just someone that loves music (metal in particular) and writing, so I decided to create my own little personal project that combines both.

I’ve been going to shows for a little over 20 years and I’ve realized that nearly all of my best memories revolve around shows. The bands that blew my mind, the mosh pits, the good times with both lifelong friends and new ones…. I love it.

So I decided to write about it (again), as a way to simply document it all. 

I’ve been a career writer for over 12 years, but I cut my teeth on show and album reviews for about 6 years, writing for Bucketlist Music Reviews. Sadly, Bucketlist ended in 2021, and I’ve missed writing about the scene that I love so much.

I have no expectations that anyone will read my writing, and that’s okay. I’m viewing this as a way to stay creative, while having fun talking about the things I love.
